EBA
History
European Body Art was founded in 2001 in
Scottsdale Arizona by business enthusiast Jaro Turek. (Baylor
University, BA International Business/Marketing).
Jaro started the company with a small investment
and an idea to create new products that perform better and
look better then anything else on the market.
It was in his genes to look for opportunity,
generate inventions and forge those inventions into art. On
his balcony, Jaro developed a new concept for displaying airbrush
tattoo flash by way of a large format portable acrylic display
which combined actual tattoo flash, images of people wearing
tattoos and informational signs. Jaro’s next mission
was to create a brand new stencil collection that no one had
seen before. The goal was clear: offer body art clientele
unique and authentic to the bone designs that would target
all genders and generations. After researching the market
demographics and numerous meetings with tattoo shops and artists,
the all new airbrush tattoo collection evolved. He then applied
his own technique of spraying airbrush tattoos creating a
unique presentation where authentic tattoo art was replicated
with precise attention to detail.
In 2002, inspired by Jaro’s very first
acrylic display model, EBA moved away from traditional laminated
display cards (flash) and introduced for the first time a
large format 2’X4’ display concept combining tattoo
images, advertising signs and images of people wearing tattoos
on a solid background. For the next year, EBA put these displays
to the test at various events, spring breaks and amusement
parks all over the nation and internationally (Huntington
Beach, Las Vegas, New York, Myrtle Beach, Lake Havasu, South
Padre Islands, Florida, Mexico and Czech Republic). The results
and customer’s reaction were beyond expectations making
way for the revolutionary 2’X5’ EBA BD Banner
Displays offered today. Incorporating artistic and computer
generated background with tattoo flash on a vinyl banner,
this simple but brilliant idea immediately changed the way
people looked at the airbrush tattoo business. Our profits
soared and slowly, we watched other companies follow suit
with similar banner displays.

Growing rapidly, in the middle of 2003 EBA
moved its operation from Scottsdale, AZ to Temecula, CA where
contracts with a large chain of theme parks grew EBA’s
operation to 15 locations nationwide. We continued testing
and improving our products while new ideas hit us daily.
Later on that year, the EBA EnduraInk body
ink emerged. Combining the best features from various paints
on the market as well as bringing in our own secrets, EBA
EnduraInk body paint was, and continues to be, a scientific
breakthrough in the airbrush tattoo industry.
In 2004 EBA’s team moved a little bit
farther west, to ”The OC” (Orange County, California)
to continue its successful journey. Every year, European Body
Art has continuously improved every phase of its operation
growing into one of the world’s leading manufacturer’s
of airbrush body art products and accessories.
Since those beginnings, businesses globally
enjoy full array of market leading products including compressors,
airbrushes, professional work stations, display stands and
airbrush tattoo accessories.
Today, EBA operates out of its headquarters
in Orange County where we focus on manufacturing, sales and
mentoring of other airbrush tattoo businesses. EBA still operates
a number of airbrush tattoo retail stores (although in a much
smaller scale) in amusement parks and malls around the country
applying up to 10,000 airbrush tattoos a month and managing
a team of over 50 employees. At these locations we keep listening
to our customer’s needs and passing them on to you by
offering cutting edge airbrush tattoo products and designs.
And just as from the very first day of operation,
we keep sending the same message to the world…
“It is not about the defiance, it is
about refusing to let the world define us. We design from
scratch when necessary. We make products measurably better
then the competition. We make products that challenge expectations
and trends. We create solutions to problems……So
let us help you let us all succeed.”
